The DRC-Nigeria Business Council was established under President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria and Felix Thishekedi of DRC. The council aims to enhance trade and investment ties between the two nations. This strategic alliance is driven by Nigeria’s substantial market potential, fueled by its large population, and the vast mineral resources of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Moreover, DRC’s unique geographical position, surrounded by nine countries and having two time zones, presents an exceptional opportunity for investors seeking to expand their presence in Africa.
